    to my own surprise i kinda like it, but i have to put my vote in for the white face gauges too. Also, have you considered to also paint the panel in the center console around the radio and what-not? I think that would look better too.

    I personally am really liking JL audio subs, but crutchfield does not sell them. I have some kickers too and used to have some pioneers, but i think that the JLs sound the best out of all the ones i have had. just my 2 cents.

    a buddy of mine has one and it is awesome, but i have a hard time shelling out that kinda money since i don't speed as badly as i once did. i still drive 75-80 all the time, but my ventures into the triple digits have slowed down.

    it sounds like you have some custom stuff in your car, i would check the connections of those wires. if you have the remote turn ons all bumched up to the same place it might have a whacky connection there. if you used any blade taps in the fusebox you may have had it touching something else...

    right now i have decided to wait at least a couple weeks before troubleshooting this since this car is a basically a toy for me. so it is going to sit in the driveway for a couple weeks and hopefully i will either get some warmer weather or will actually get around to putting a couple heaters...

    Amp thump problem..

    I had a pioneer HU that had the RCAs go south on me and caused a huge thumping in the subs, but it was for as long as the stereo was on, not just switching sources. not saying that it is YOUR problem, but if this just started to happen it could be something similar.
