    Neither, the fitting was so seized in that the flared fitting wrench rounded it off thus taking a pipe wrench to remove the line and boogering up the fitting...

    So 71829 is the line that runs from the pump all the way across to the steering gear? EDIT: 71831 is 29.25" and 71829 is a little over 27"; the 29.25" hose is WAY too short already and doesn't have the correct bends in it...

    I'm guessing, it's the line that runs from the pump, cross the top of the rack, and makes a 90* turn into the steering gear itself, the line I have from NAPA (same one linked above) is from the steering gear to the rack... I think that's the same line I already have from NAPA, same length...

    Having a **** of a time getting the correct hose, NAPA keeps giving me the line from the steering gear (i guess that's the name for it) to the rack and I need the hose from the pump to the steering gear. Does any body have an NAPA part number for the correct hose? Thanks much...

    Yup, checked and replaced the NSS, and yes the lights all light up along with a quick cycle of the fuel pump... NSS already ruled out as stated above, I'll have to double check the under hood fuses... I'll look into the tumbler... Thanks for the ideas... Also, you wouldn't happen to know...

    Okay, so starter checks out. Putting it back in I came across a second connector that is in the same loom as the spade connector to the solenoid. What does that connect to as I can't seen any place it should go. Thanks.
