    Ditto on replacing the alt. Mine did the exact same thing, dim batt light intermittantly. It will just get worse.

    Found it! The wire from the alternator to the battery was rubbing on the AC compressor pulley. It had just eaten it's way through the insulation.

    The foam disintegrated on mine also. I got a new foam surround from simplyspeakers out of FL. I can't remember if they refoamed it or I did as I've used them several times. That was 4 or 5 years ago and it's still working fine.

    I think the recalled part was the switch on the brake resivoir. They were prone to leaking.

    The problem ended up being the DPFE sensor. It was just coincedence that it went out during/after the service. I ended up drilling the rivets out of the old sensor and looking inside. There was a small burned out spot on the circuit board for some reason. Got a new one on there and no light...

    Thanks for the links, good reading. I had actually found a couple of them prior to my question. I was mostly asking if anyone had performed a 60k and had this particular code as a result of the service. After reading the links, I have a better understanding of how the system works though.

    I brought my '95 SHO to a dealer for some maint. It was getting close to 60K and had an oil leak at the ft crank seal so I decided to let them do basically a 60K. Plugs and wires, timing belt and water pump, cam and crank seals etc. They called me up this morning telling me I now have a check...

    Better check the impedance of the Kicker vs stock driver.

    When you say it's in 2 pieces, do you mean the surround has come apart or maybe the magnets fallen off? The surround foam on mine rotted off. I ended up refoaming it and it's played perfectly for the last 4 or 5 years.

    This seems to be a great site. I've got a 95 SHO that I bought brand new. Iit has 58,000 miles on it and the ft crank seal started leaking. I figured I'd do it all at once.
