To piggy back on what you just said, would it be possible to update the ecu to the 13+
Some thing I did notice from shifting from the Flex 10-12 and building the exploder, is the 13+ using better hall effect sensors for the cams and the crank. The tone ring reference is way better for reading...
The Flex ..... is gone..... The Exploder is almost done at the body shop then tuning with Brad. I have a 2nd tune ready to load... just need the ride back to start playing
Back story,
Had most of this/these mods on My 2011 Flex - others posts about that car... but switching from that ride into a 2013 Exploder. So major updates in the way of ECU abilities..
Exploder got a built engine (other posts) but lots of stuff got swapped over, and never had an issue with...
These were a set that I sent out to be cleaned. Clearly the failure happened after. I have about 150miles on the engine

Gave it a go this morning - dropped in the tune, and the big pump. Found my weakness - #2 cylinder misfire - bore scoped it, injector is just draining. This is why we keep spare parts right.

Few steps closer
Installed the Viper remote start / alarm.
Ran the wiring for the radar detector and the SCT livewire.
Still working on break in miles. Then I’ll put the big pump on and drop the tune in.
Baby steps, fun times are near
High and low, “laser” high beam puts a hot spot right there in the center
Updated the fog lights as well same style just fully sealed for weather.
Also a high/low beam light.
So I kick on the high beams, I get 4 high beam patterns - eyes will hurt if I get flashed

Lighting done
Had the magnaflow exhaust from the Flex retrofitted to the exploder. Close fit but mods were made.
Stole the wheels from the Flex wrapped them with 295/40/20
Body work is mostly completed. Some PDR work and a buff out.
One more alignment visit.
