Crank Pully Removal
Thanks everyone for your help. Finally got that freaking bolt off. I was undoing it counter clockwise thanks to sdpat's posts & pics a little while back and a few other guys saying it was a normal thread. I ended up going to the local plumbing store and asked for a big hunk of steel pipe...- Adrian

Crank Pully Removal
Yeah, I did try the starter method by putting my breaker bars on the bolt whilst rested on the subframe and cranking the starter.....10 times. I'm puzzled as to why even that won't work? I'll crank my starter and by bar will be bent 30 degrees! I'll then flip it over and crank it again to...- Adrian

Coolant smell and an oil leak......
Hi, I had the same problem with my car. That lovely (not!) coolant smell from the engine. But I couldn't figure where the heck it was coming from. I finally found it! It was coolant leaking out of the weep hole underneath the water pump (the seal inside was worn out). It would trickle down...- Adrian

AHA!! I found my coolant leak!!
Hi, I'm just doing the same job on mine too. I thought it was the lower radiator hose leaking too. That awful coolant smell dripping on the exhaust telling you something is wrong!! Mine ended up being the water pump leaking out of the "weep hole", the seal had worn out. It was leaking down...- Adrian

Crank Pully Removal
Hi everyone, Just replacing the water pump on my 91 SHO 3.0 DOHC. I'm enjoying pulling half the motor apart to get to it!! I can't get the crank pully off so I can remove all the timing covers and belt. My impact wrench won't budge it and I can't hold the motor still to use a big bar and...- Adrian
