    93 ATX runs bad when hot???

    I checked when it was idling I couldnt see the fans spinning but I could hear something turning on but the temp. stayed pretty much in the same spot,but the car never overheats or anything so I have no clue.

    93 ATX runs bad when hot???

    It runs bad,shifts funny,sometimes it takes along time to shift out of gear mostly lower gears then once it gets going and gets air it will shift good untill I have to do more stop and go driving.

    I was wondering what would cause this? Tranny going out or something simple? If I drive it on open roads or dont do alot of stop and go she's fine but city driving or when it aint getting air it runs bad.( Any help would be great )

    93 ATX Going out!!!

    I got a 93 ATX and she's starting to slip away. It only happens when it gets hot like in city driving or alot of stop and go. It works fine cruzin down a open road. Oh well I guess its time for Rebuild #3.(Dont you just love ATX's) shoot

    Found something in tranny pan!

    No it's not magnetic. It looks like two washers together but it spins like a bearing would, its black on the outside and silver on the inside washer. And the black outside cover looking one has some grooves in it also. My tranny doesnt have overdrive now so I was thinking it has to be something...

    Found something in tranny pan!

    I did my tranny fluid and filter today in my 93 ATX and I found a washer or something like a washer/bearing type thing laying in my tranny pan any clue's to what it could be for? Any help would be great.

    Messed up Overdrive ! PLEASE HELP !

    I have a 93 ATX and my tranny has been acting up latly. It only does it between 45 and 55. Like when it first goes into Overdrive. It starts to buck,or Sputter a little almost like a Misfire. After I stop and take off a few times it wont even go into Overdrive. Do I need a Tranny rebuild or...
