Well, my SHO has a bad case of crank cancer and the crank is done for.

I found a black 94 ATX in KC that runs good but has a hard shift from park to drive. Im buying it for the 3.2 and I will be putting it into my SHO.

I dont have the proper tools nesessary to do this swap so I am curious if anyone up there wants to assist me in doing an engine swap. I'd be happy to pay you for your time, or we can even make it a NebSHO tech meet. Its all up to you! Let me know guys!

I'd be willing to come down and give you a hand. what all do you need in the way of tools and equipment? it'd have to not conflict with school or anything else I may have going on...

When are you looking to do this? I'll see what I can do... Are you planning on swapping the bearings and seals out (I would as it IS much easier to do when it's out)? Also, it would be a good time to do a valve adjustment.

Provided you have everything needed for the swap/refresh, this could easily be done in a day (I'd just reuse the 3L heads if they're in good shape, but it'll cost you in head gaskets though).

I dont plan on doing it asap as I have another SHO to drive for now come tomorrow. But, I do want this done in a quick manner as my silver SHO is currently taking up a space in Jason's garage with pieces laying everywhere. I can get a tow dolly no problem and I have a 97 Freightliner FL70 to tow it with (work truck  ) so getting it up there is no a big deal.

Yes, I plan on doing all the gaskets/seals. I am going to do this swap the right way. No more half assing shit.

my second row folds almost flat. I can fit a mountain bike, some paintings, and a bunch of crap of other people's in there. Be glad you don't own an explorer anymore. people ask you to help them move crap that doesn't fit in their cars... depending on when we do this my dad might be gone so I could always try and snake the F150...

Well, I really dont have much room down here to work with. Jason has a 2 car garage but half of it is filled with a titanic amount of junk... And a pool table. Once we get all of that cleaned up, I will have room to do a swap but I am unsure as to when we will get around to cleaning it up. Hes kind of redoing his entire house at the same time. But, as i said above, I do have the means to haul 2 cars up there to complete the swap. ****, if I do that, I will let you all tear into the 94 and grab whatever ya'll want for free. :)
