I own a 96 SHO with ~138k miles on it. Recently, I noticed a ticking noise coming from the engine. I've stopped driving it as it seems ticking means potential cam failure. I am trying to find a place in my area that can do the cam welding. I live just outside Louisville, KY.

I sent an e-mail to a place called Farmers Automotive in Greenfield IN, who's website said they can do the weld, but I haven't heard back yet.

Any information on shops close to my area would be greatly appreciated.

Pick someone who has done the procedure before. No matter where, you're trailering that car.

Update:

I've since set up an appt. with Eric to get them welded, after hearing (well, reading) so many good things about him.
