No performance mods, I've done timing chains (twice, and it needs them again), both turbos once and the front turbo 2 more times (1 was a bad ford rebuild, then the Dorman I replaced it with started leaking almost immediately), Fuel injectors, coils, Transmission was rebuilt around 250k, almost the entire suspension has been replaced, and then the normal wear items (brakes, tires, plugs, etc). I think that pretty much sums it up.

Very nice. I'm at 193k and will probably have it for quite awhile. As far as I know, I got it at 100k , and only timing chains and wp had been done.

Keep it going good sir

Wow! That's great to hear. I just hit 173k. Hope she keeps going strong to 200k before the rust from the northeast gets her.

Definitely not a 'trouble free' vehicle. I have not changed the PTU, and it is not in the maintenance records I got with the car when I bought it. I have tried to change the PTU oil out regularly, about every 30k or so using Red Line Lightweight Shockproof. Same with the rear diff. I did notice the PTU seems to be leaking now though.

@Shadow351 by any chance are you tuned?
No, all stock performance wise. I did do the VTA mod and noise maker delete, but not tuned.

It has a few things it needs, and I'm currently waiting on parts; Wheel bearings (surprise there), Front CV axles (my fault, I had the rear subframe out for rust repairs and after reinstall, the car dog tracked and I waited too long to get it aligned and it started thumping. After an alignment now it only thumps when turning left, but it is getting pretty aggressive.) O2 sensor, it is throwing an intermittent catalyst efficiency code, I suspect it needs a cat, but a sensor is $20 so I'll try that first. Just had to replace the Cooling fan control module because it decided not to run the fans on a hot day when I was stuck in traffic, while also continung to run the fans for several minutes after shutting the car off when its <40°F out. Oh and the startup rattle is back, so it needs a timing chain again -_-.

Thanks for the follow-up! I saw you said no performance mods but I was thinking bolt-ons when I asked.

Hopefully you get sent the correct passenger front CV axle as I had to wait about a week for the correct order to arrive after I had it all apart. If you're already doing work in there, consider doing tie rods (and suspension). I replaced nearly everything but calipers and lugnuts (they were already changed) when I went in.

Great job keeping it on the road this long!
