So I've sat on these for a while but im wanting to pull the trigger on a set of American racing 20×10 wheels with new Michelin latitude sport tires for $1,600 obo. They're black and i think it would go good with the red. Tires are 255/45/20 & have all new TPMS sensors and bolt pattern is 5×114.3. So tempting then i can at least sell the stock rims for a few hundred maybe.

This is what they look like. Tbh I think it'll completely change the look of my car altogether. Just hoping I can come to an agreement on price.

Looks sharp!

I think they'd look great on my car. He also has a set of 20×9 gray KMC KM709 FLUX wheels that are lightweight and have nitto tires with 10k miles on them.

Stick with the black IMHO.

He wants $1200 for those and I literally only have $1k to work with plus the black rims have a summer tire setup and by the time it gets colder I'd have to go and get a set of all season tires or go full winter tire setup. More $$$ out of pocket in the long run.

True, more $$ OOP.....

But tires will always need replacing.

Won't matter which rim you end up purchasing.

If it were me, I'd negotiate with the seller and/or hold off until you had the money.

The black definitely would look better. Keep the summer shoes on those, then get a cheap set of rims for winter (& dedicated winter shoes exclusively).

That'd be the best scenario all the way around.

Yes, I know, more $$. The old adage "gotta pay to play" applies.

GL with w/e you do end up deciding upon.

No patio? Put a chain with a lock through them, cover with a tarp and use as a table.
Rent a small storage locker? Store with a buddy or parent? Just some off the wall ideas.

You might laugh but I was actually gonna sell them, granted yes I could keep them but the wheels were decent minus the one with a chunk missing and the tires were dodgy.

to be fair, I agree with the other posters, I got a stainless steel wire cable, and lock, and a anchor - thru a tarp over them, save them for when I move one day and need all weather tires. here in SF i just need soft racing tires with great water separation. always good to have spare rims.

Right doesn't hurt to keep them. If no one does buy my stock wheels I can keep them and use them as winter wheels. Or if I DO sell my stock wheels, I can go online or in the police interceptor pages and get a set of 18×8 steelies with the center caps for the winter with a good set of winter tires.
