After a newbie posted the other day listing his upgrades by troubleshooting transmission issues, after listing LMS tuning... I think there is never going to be any response from this group.

I was willing to listen to everything and keep an open mind, but people come here over FB groups which I have to say following threads in FB blows, that said this new poster started with his history on his car chasing transmission issues even stated LMS gave him a stock tune to troubleshoot his transmission issues. To be polite @Livernois Motorsports everyone who has issues with this now dead platform ends up here. After many and less than a handful of no issues claimed by active members you are outnumbered - post away however I don't see a well of financial growth here.

I thank your organization for supporting this platform even now. However it's never going anywhere to announce the sales.

GL

**** I even would recommend a couple of known tuners on the HP platform over LMS at this point. And have tbh.

I already messaged him to see which tune he has. If he was having transmission issues even on the factory tune, it's not tune related as it would be mechanically related. If he was having problems on another companies tune, would you feel the same way against that company?

Or the issue was caused be the tune and now he has a mechanical issue that will be a costly repair thanks to a poor quality tune that has documented history of transmission problems and blaming customers for years. Would we feel the same way about a company that has a poor quality product that causes problems with the platform and blames the consumer? Yes, in fact, if you read through the forum you will see that. Try reading the threads about problems with Ortiz. Or the threads where people don't like SSM for stealing the AD design/product.

I did as matter of fact and would never recommend anyone using Diablo Sport tuners once private company l, now owned by Holley. I will sell it to you, car with less than 11k miles bought their "Dyno tested tune" the shifts were horribly rough they literally banged from gear to gear, yeah from a newbies perspective it was 'fun' so I opened a ticket - they had me go into logging mode they made tweaks, asked me to run the gears wot and have log for them. Not more than a few hundred miles transmission issues. I will gladly sanitize my personal data and show the 2 transmission repairs and 3rd time full replacement under warranty. Took the tuner and shoved it in a box never again and if someone came to these forums - I would tell them to switch it out and move away. Look this tuning business is serious stuff there are $1000s of dollars for simple mistakes to trash the car including sending rods outside of the engine block - gladly send you a link to the YT Ford mechanic many here share when he posts truthful and accurate to the consensus of our audience posts showing bad tuning a the damage it can cause.

I will never say @Livernois Motorsports you have some great people now making changes and truly providing finely tuned custom tunes - but get a track record and stop having the refugees show up here to tell us their horror stories.

So yes NEVER buy a Holey owned Diablo Sport tuner. Not to mention since the company was here 20 mins away in Boca Raton FL - I had bricked my computer and needed their very nice programmer to stop by and unbrick my car, otherwise on a tow truck and to Ford to maybe have my warranty voided or pull the computer and send to Diablo back then..... What a nightmare.
