Frenzied ford here with a 5.8 that has created a head ache that won't quit I replaced the eec map center camshaft sensor and EGR steel stalls and won't run fall flat on its face anytime I give it throttle and just backfires through the intake also traced all vacuum lines

What vehicle is it? Vacuum leak can be vacuum lines as well as some sealing surfaces. Also if you changed plugs/wires etc. double check for proper routing against a correct diagram. First thing is there should be codes stored in teh computer from it running poorly. That is what you should look at first. also a jump in timing can mess it up, a bad sensor or two. Codes

I've got a 92 Ford 5.8 l EFI honestly I got a mess I'm doing the smog deletion and EGR bypass but I had these symptoms before

and yes you're on the right track with the timing cuz I did have some issues when I did my plugs and wires on which timing order I was to use

That is the nature of DIY clusterfudge projects. I was also hinting that sometimes timing chains or guides wera out, belts can jump a tooth or two etc. There are a ton of possibilities to eliminate. Sometimes codes can point you there quicker. When you verify something is good then you can clear the codes and see what pops up again. It's a whole deal. Good luck

If my old a s s memory serves me well the timing gears are plastic coated and when it cracks and breaks off the chain will jump a tooth. Thus leaving you the problem you have now. Pull the timing cover and check crank to cam phase alignment. Bet your one tooth off as said above.
