Will forscan program a new key fob?

Hello I’m not sure on the forscan or how to use it but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen either on Facebook posts or what not it’s free to download but will it also reprogram a keyfob? My dog sadly bit my second key so I have 1 left or should I just go to the dealership and send 129 for them to program it?

If you have the fob, try it in the back up slot. If it works in the backup slot, you may be able to follow the 1,2,3 method and not need a scan tool.

Well It does say I have 3 admin keys already if that changes anything? Im not sure how many keys you can have.

No. You need 2 key fobs to program a third for free by yourself. Having three admin keys just means there are three keys for your car.

8 keys total by default, 4 IKTs max. You can choose, at least via IDS, to enable fleet mode to get unlimited keys.
