Have bubbling and smoke

Hello everyone, my issue started when I drove on poor oil and ended up with a red oil light with stalling. So I changed the oil (with motor medic )(probably a poor idea) and oil pressure sensor. Problem persisted once the fans kick on.I did some reading and came up it’s the rod bearings. So I did them which definitely needed it. But now I have coolant bubbling out of backflow hose to the bottle. I do have white smoke (which I thought was from the seafoam I put in the gas)
I’m thinking the seafoam got one of my headgaskets. I noticed when I was changing the bearings one of the pistons was pretty hard to pull down and back up (felt like It had Pressure holding it) thinking that the pressure is from the radiator. Any ways I need directions on how to disassemble and reassemble. Input needed .thank you

What I mean by seafoam getting into one my head gasket I mean one of the pistons got to hot due to sea foam

My first guess is you scorched a head gasket due to the heat associated with running out of oil.

The white smoke is your coolant. And it has nothing to do with Seafoam.

You can pressure test the rad to verify.

See if there are any codes.

You can get an oil light with rod bearings on the way out. You had the oil light on and stalled out the car so I would look at more potential mechanical damage. check or have someone test for head gasket failure and cylinder leak down test.

Check for stored codes using the paper clip method that is detailed on this forum.

If it is a head gasket, it is good to know what side is giving you the problem, and if it is the rad side, then that is a gift.

When you say it’s just the rad side it’s a gift due to the accessibility? And are you saying it’s ok to do one since the other isn’t leaking ?

You should really do some testing to see what the cylinder leak down and pressurized coolant and other tests reveal. It could be something other than or more than a head gasket. There are many tests you can see on youtube to check over the engine.

Yes, That is what I am saying.

You will hear howls of protest saying always replace head gaskets in pairs, but I maintain you only fix what is broken.

And it is not confirmed it is head gaskets just yet. These engines are not prone to head gasket failures..

Stored codes means that the error is stored and not displayed by you check engine light.

Check for stored codes. Do that first before reading any repair manuals. And borrow or buy a rad cap pressure hand pump and pump up your cooling system and see it it maintains pressure over a number of hours.

Was the red light you mention the low oil level in the sump light, or the oil pressure light that you see when you change your oil and filter (for a few seconds).
