Running unleashed 91oct 3bar tune.
After i had the plugs (gapped to .028 per tuner), 170 tstat, and updated tune installed, the car seems noticably slower off the line and seems to flatten out after 4k rpm.
Any ideas why i am experiencing this?

I am not clear if this issue began after the plug and t'stat swap or if after you installed the updated tune or if all of these were done at the same time. If there was an issue with the plug installation such as a cracked plug or a coil not properly attached, you would have a misfire.

Assuming you have no CEL and that the engine is running smoothly, it sounds like you need to send Torrie a log so he can see what is going on.

Neither mod would cause a plateaus in your tune. Are you running good fuel? If your fuel is good, then it is something that needs to be addressed in your tuning.

Are you sure you are not losing boost somewhere? I would check all hoses & clamps to make sure none are loose or have come apart. Sometimes a hose or two needs to be moved out of the way during plug installation on the firewall-side bank, and someone likely forgot to reconnect.

And, of course, check for codes, always.

I was running the 91oct 3bar tune before i had the plugs and tstat installed and the car ran well. I was hoping to squeeze some more power out of it with the new plugs, tstat, and updated tune to support these mods. It feels like the opposite has happened...
I always run the best fuel available in my area. The engine is running smooth, just feels less powerful than it did prior plug and tstat install. No CEL or codes.
I will check my hoses and clamps here shortly.

There's no reason that Torrie cannot figure out the tuning issues that you are experiencing. If not, let us know. We can get you hooked up with the best tuning out!

What plugs did you use or did you just re-gap them?

Should have been obvious right away but by chance did you install the new 3 bar MAP sensor BEFORE the tune? Not trying to insult intelligence just trying to help troubleshoot.

Bought the ngk plugs from unleashed.
I purchased the 3bar and tune from unleashed about 5 months ago and have been running it with no problems.
Monday i had new plugs and tstat installed. After they were installed, i loaded a new tune that torrie emailed me to compensate for the new mods
Ever since i loaded that tune and drove away from the shop, my car is performing worse than it did before i had the plugs and tstat installed.

I really appreciate all the help from you guys!:)

Hard to think what could be the matter with the tune, because the only item that should have changed is when the fans come on, since you now have a cooler TStat. Tune might run a bit hotter, but not much. All run0fthemill stuff. That's why I was thinking something with the install is funky. Heck, sometimes the plugs are not torqued down correctly to 132-ish inlb (11 ftlb), yes, it's been known to happen ...

you are using unleashed and torrie will get you a datalog tune the same day, why not do a quick datalog and send it to Torrie. That would be the easiest place to start

That was also my suggestion but SHOdded made a good point about a boost leak caused by disturbing a hose or clamp when replacing the plugs. Another idea would be to load up the original tune - assuming you still have it on the SCT device - and see how if the power comes back.

I look forward to hearing the outcome of this.

Just sent datalogs to torrie and received an updated tune. Car FEELS much better. Will be taking it to the track tomorrow to see if it equates to better 1/4 mile times.
Thank you guys for all the help!

Have you been to the track before? If so, what did it run?

Sorry for the long delay. Before the datalog tune and with 3 trips to the track and roughly 20 passes, car ran a best of 13.3xx. Tonight, with the new datalog tune from torrie, i ran a best of 13.148.
