If you are going to tune, I would recommend talking to Livernois about getting a 3 bar sensor, 160 thermostat and a V8 tune. That's the hottest tune for the 13-14's now. If you go 10-12, the 4X tune is the one to run. Don't leave any safe performance on the table. And, don't forget to make sure your plugs are gapped at 30. Good Luck!

What's the difference between 4+ and 4X tune? I thought (based on their website) that the 4+ was the latest and greatest tune, unless you went with 5 which requires meth injection?

The 4X (for 10-12 models) is a hyped up 3 Bar tune based on a real life dynotune. It also incorporates some knowledge learned when LME created the V8 for the 13-14 models. It requires a 160 thermostat, 93 Octane gasoline and a 3 Bar manifold sensor along with SP534 plugs gapped at 30 (which all tuned vehicles should employ). The 4X is a fairly new offering and is not really meant for the public. It was originally issued to certain forum members and the news spread like wildfire. Guys are dipping into the 12.7's with it. If you only have 91 Octane available, the Stage 4+ is as hot a tune you can get from LME at the present time. That one should still get you to 13+-.

Awesome... I have yet to encounter anywhere I drive that doesn't offer 93, and never put anything less in it. Already have the SP534 plugs gapped right. So, I'd need the 3 bar MAP, the thermostat, and a 4+ hour drive to Michigan each way... I guess I need to know what the power gain is between that and a 4+ before I'd commit to what... a $1500 investment? (And if I'm going to do that, I might as well have them put the downpipe and catback on ...but that's already planned sometime this year anyhow.)

I've put 26K on my CPO 2010 - no issues at all. I replace the pads and rotors recently with powerstop from rock auto - much improved stopping.

Its only a matter of time now. Just don't go out to eat a couple more times a month and that will make up the payment difference. Or bring your lunch to work, or work overtime, i've used all of these to justify a bigger payment to myself.

I told myself I'd quit drinking $5 iced caramel macchiatos every day at Starbucks. But I lied! :D
