Ok guys, I need this gone. Price lowered (see end of post). I understand if nobody wants to deal with fixing rusty rocker panels and replacing rear coil springs but the low mileage engine, trans, interior & other parts ought to be worth something. I'd rather it went to a SHO enthusiast that would at least use it for parts but I'll be putting it up on Craigslist next week if I don't get any bites. Scans of the Carfax added to the picture set on Flickr.

The Good / Items replaced:

- Cams welded by Jered of Quality Auto in Grand Island, NE
- Goodyear Eagle ResponsEdge tires with ~25,000 miles on them
- Replaced front subframe bushings with Gen 3 rears all around
- Rotors replaced in 2011, slotted in front, solid in back
- Performance Friction Carbon Metallic brake pads
- 23mm rear sway bar from a Gen 2 with TPR bushings, Moog endlinks
- Metal front sway bar endlinks, greasable
- Transmission is possibly a Ford Reman - probably from 1st owner since 2nd owner knew nothing about it (has a Ford Remanufactured sticker)
- Deleted IMRC & butterflies
- SHO Source intake couplers & clamps
- New upper & lower intake gaskets 2009
- Cleaned/flow-matched injectors 2009 by Witch Hunter performance
- New PCV valve and hose/elbow 2010
- New MAF (correct metal Ford unit) 2009
- New OEM coils 2007 (got one of the last cheap Motorcraft batches on E-bay)
- Magnaflow Y-pipe with new O2 sensors 2009
- 3rd cat delete and new flex-pipe from FPS 2009
- I have two keys with remotes

The Bad / Reason(s) I’m selling:

- The car has spent its entire life in states that use salt on the roads. It looks good up top but…well, see below
- Rusted rocker panels. I was planning to have both sides done 4-5 months apart as finances permitted. The body shop (Searl’s Auto Body), after taking the passenger ground effects off & saw that the inner rocker would need repaired as well, didn’t even bother to call me to ask if I still wanted the outer replaced. They just fixed/painted the outer then told me about it when I picked the car up. (“We can’t order the inners and we don’t want to mess with having them cut out of a southern car & shipped.”) Needless to say a bit of yelling ensued and a discount was issued on the work performed. I expected more from a business listed in the local Christian Business Directory… So, yeah, the car will need some inner panel repair on the passenger side rocker and both inner/outer on the driver side. The doglegs are fine and there is no rust on the bottom of the doors.
- Classic SAS syndrome and at least one broken rear spring. Leans ever so slightly to the left and squeaks over bumps. Will need new rear coil springs & strut mounts.
- SAI system non-functional. Whether from solenoid or pump failure, I don't know as I had Paul Nimz disable it in the tune back in 2008.
- Smacked a young deer at low speed (was almost at a stop after missing the first two in the stick) and broke some of the Ford logo support/grill in the front bumper (the black plastic cross-hatch piece). You can’t tell unless you really look at it but a replacement comes with the car.
- Could use new carpet. One of the previous owners didn’t clean up their spills and there is a large tear in the driver side foot well. Pic included in the album.
- Driver side rear window doesn’t work 90% of the time.
- Driver seat bolster has the usual hole /wear. Should be able to just have that one panel replaced.
- The front SARC sensors are currently not on the car as the passenger side one wouldn't stay on the ball/socket mount and rattled. Drove me nuts so I took 'em off & pulled the SARC fuse. The system functioned fine before I removed them. They will be included with the car but not mounted.

Misc:
- The aftermarket stereo equipment will not go with the car. Original ashtray & '96 cup holders have been put back in the car. I can’t find both OE front speakers so you get lucky and score an Image Dynamics CTX65 component set.
- The floormats, while OEM, are the darker gray from a 98/99. What can I say, they were new in box, cheap, and looked better than the torn Wal-Mart specials the car came to me with.
- I can't find the engine vanity cover.

Price: $1600 with the Paul Nimz tune and an SCT X3 flash programmer, $1200 without (obo). Will not part out.

Good thing you aren't closer......i'd have been tempted by the welded engine for a project.
