Hey everybody I figured i would introduce my self like every other new comer to SHOforums. I posted a pix of my Silver 93 ATX 3.2 to the Ford Motor Co. FB page. A BIG SHO fan saw the pix and hit me up there. From there he got about 50 other SHO owners for me to friend request on Facebook. When my 93 died most of them refereed me to SHOforum. so here i am. This 93 I have is the first i have owned. My mom gave it to me after she got a Jeep (Also mine now) but the SHO had tones of problems. all the head gaskets where blown, the oil pan was destroyed because she nailed a pothole, and cat was destroyed. I pulled the top of the motor and replaced all of the seals and gaskets, painted the valve covers and intake manifold, and cleaned the throttle body. Then i started the oil pan and the trans. pan. I got the trans. pan finished and changed the trans filter while i was there (figured it was never serviced in the time mom had it). Then got to the oil pan. i couldnt get the Y pipe off so i tried to work around it, No bueno.... i got all but 1 nut off of the oil pan and i really bad snow storm him in November. So now it just now became clear enough to finish the oil pan and all the nuts and bolts to the oil pan went missing. got a new set ordered and they will be here Saturday. Im hoping that she will be running by this time next week. But anyway thats my store

Welcome aboard.

With the y-pipe and oil pan off, replace the rod bearings while they are exposed and easy to access.
