I've had a slight rub on my 13in cobra brakes only when turning they give off a high pitch squeal almost like a squealer is rubbing I haven't worried about it much but recently I read somewhere that if this isn't fixed rotors can break or something along those lines, I'm just curious what the comon thing is that's rubbing is it the caliper bracket or the caliper itself. I would try and find the squeal but like I said it's only during cornering at mostly at hiway speeds 50+ mph.

Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Hub flex, but the only time I get it is on the track during high speed cornering. If you're getting hub flex and the noise to go with at highway speeds and cornering, you might want to inspect your bearings for play.

mine does it on hard cornering even with the 11.6" setup on the road coarse. and occasionally on the street during.. well, again hard cornering. this is with bearings that at the time had under 400 miles on them. hopefully g3 subframe fixes these issues.

I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic, but I believe he is talking about the wear indicators on the pads. Or maybe it's something about a greased pig.

The squealing that is common on the Cobra brakes is the rotor rubbing against the inside of the caliper bracket. Mine did it on the first track day with the 13" setup, but not since. Besides ensuring that your bearings are gutentite, the proper solution to the problem would be to take a little material off the inside of the bracket. Eventually it will take care of itself on its own, but I guess some people have had rotors fail, and you don't want that.

 Of course, the brake wear squealer. Sorry, had no idea what you were talking about.
