Hello all,
Just recently purchased my first SHO

its a 1990, I orginally just browsing through craigslist looking for a cheap car to DD, came acorss this ca, didnt know much but besides it was a 5-speed and thats the only reason i even went to look at the car, once I saw it, i had to have it, this is far superior to a regular taurus, I could deal with it, was pretty clean, aftermarket rims, tint Picked it up for about 1200$, not to bad a deal.

underhood is what really impressed me, after reading up on some facts of my newly purchased car, suprised to read, yamaha built the engine, sweeet.

well, I will stop talking and try to get some pics up. Enjoy and Good day.
-Andrew

Welcome in.

Any idea of the number of miles it has or its maintenance history?

There are a few owners up in your area that have played with SHOs for a while now.

Also, if you use
.

well as 99% of you probley already know, the car itself is not made by yamaha, but the most important part of this car is the...powerplant. but then again, you all already know this, but thank you for pointing out my typo.

car has 230k miles. But from what I can see underhood, everything i would question on a high mileage car like this, has been replaced, radiator, water pump, wires, plugs, maf, radiator hose's, a/c lines replaced, starter, TPS, random heater hose's....ect.

Meh, fancy low profile tires wear out just like regular tires. While these are working for you, start saving for the expensive tires.
