Dunno.. I would check your local DMV for cat laws or police department for noise laws..

Must have "visible" converters, catch is that the vehicle will have to be run on a dyno emissions machine. (depending on county your in.) as far as catback....i dont know any station that will rag on you for a system with a muffler.

i belive its a federal law as far as cats go and i dont belive there is a law on size of cat back its goes by desibles

I know it doesn't matter here in Nebraksa... When I moved here in ~2003 i remember going with my mom to the DMV and all they did to register an out of state car was make sure the VIN on the title and one of the badges on the car matched up. No smog testing, no visual inspecting or anything.. Things may have changed since then, but thats what happened to me.

cats are required by federal law, and its actually a felony if you get caught driving a car without them, so its not recommended to delete them.

What are the laws regarding catback and Catless exhaust systems in Pennsylvania?

For the entire state, you must have "visual" cats.
There are a few county's that have the "sniffer" test.
You will fail emissions in these county's if you don't have cats in place.

FYI: If you have a 5 speed SHO, you best performance bang for the buck is an aftermarket Y pipe.
