A friend intends to run Hoosier A6 in 245/45-16, would like to try 1 or 2 for test fit. Since that size could be on a SHO I thought I'd troll here on his behalf. If you have anything, PM me.

Location is near Devens, Pepperell MA.

Thanks,
- Jeff

Jeff, is this on a SHO? I have lots of 16x8 wheels, some mounted with Toyo or Nitto R comps in that size.

Is anyone running in October? Looks like I am missing (again) the final Bay State Corvette (formerly NESHOC) one because of work.

Hi John!

Actually this is for Mark's bmw 328. He's finally figured out that if he's going to pax competitively with Barb, he's better off if prepped to class, and that means a6's. I figured that was a size you were running, guess you've not discovered Hoosiers yet either ;).

Looks like Barb is running on the 2nd, I think she's looking at the roster and thinking about FTD - we'll see. I'd go but I don't know if my hubs will last - I have an ner event Sunday then one more in Oct. If my hubs survive that, I'll be trying to run a Ford event or two.

Best,
- Jeff

If Mark's 328 has a 5 x 4.5 inch bolt circle, and a 40 mm offset is acetable he is welcome to try them, although they would be a tad narrower than an A6.

Now that I have rims for an appropriate second set of rains I will likely go A6 on the back R6 on the front (esepcialy now that the stiffer springs and Bilsteins are on).

I'm in limbo. Don't want to spend the $$$ on R compounds and have worn down front PS2s. I'd buy new ones but I may put the rears on the front of the V and get new rears. But until I know for sure, I can't commit. Maybe I should just bring the Town Car...:swing:

Appreciate the thought but part of Mark's issue is whether the 245s can fit on class-legal wheels, anyway the pattern is different (5x120 IIRC).

I think for running street tires you're best off when they're down to the wear bars. So I'd suggest leaving the worn down ones on the front (assuming your beast is least kind to the fronts) and make this their last blast - then have the fresh ones ready to replace them. JMHO!

PS looks like I've found some carcasses for him, courtesy of an NER guy. Thanks for the thoughts!

Best,
- Jeff
