If you are relatively close to Chicago, Eric Lehmann welds them. He's E1v2 on the forum.

Anyone know how to get ahold of Eric Lehmann? I trid searching his username on here and it came back invalid... unless i'm doing it wrong.
My dad has a 98 SHO w/ 165k on it, and because of having to change the spark plugs and other maintenance on it, i've joined this forum for help with things. I just recently read about the cam failure... and want to find out exactly what can be done, what's the best route to get this fixed or if its even worth it at this point. My dad has no plans on getting rid of the car, but now that i've brought this to his attention, he is worried.
I live in chicago so getting ahold of Eric would be best if he's still around.

he's still around. he prowls the V8 section a lot...look at the thread 400ft-lbs of torque...he posted there. good people, even though i've never met him in person.

I had my cams welded by Rik Evans and he did a great job with it. It took him a little over two and a half hours from him pulling my car into his garage to having it on a lift changing the oil! From what I understand, both Rik and Eric do a great job and either one will leave you totally satisfied!

Eric is your best bet. He is welding mine in may 8th. His contact info is on v8sho.com under people who will weld your cams. It took a couple of days to get him but I've heard he is one of the best.
