My friend Charlie just bought a used long travel frame setup for an LS1 but has decided to use a SHO motor instead. He has been pretty impressed with mine but the clincher was probably my donating the motor out of the green gen1 in my yard. this will be a long term project so don't expect seeing it for a while.
We pulled the motor out last weekend and am ready to part out the rest to anybody that wants it. I paid for a classified ad in the shoforum but never placed the ad. Donovan, I lost your number again if you are still interested call me. Tom, we had talked about trading the tranny for a computer but the tranny has a hole in the case and don't know if you are still interested. anyone interested in parts call me. If anybody wants to come down hear and pull the parts yourself the parts are free. Otherwise a small fee to subsidize my labor to pull. I will be coming up to Phoenix on the 19th for sure and might stay the weekend and will bring up any parts requested

I had my existing transaxle for my buggy fixed (destroyed 2nd gear) and will baby it along until I can afford the Mendeola 2D that I want. So I will have my buggy going again soon.

Jeff,

I'd still take the tranny for backup parts, if you don't mind.

Hmmm... the 19th Eh? I wonder if Mikey can make it up that weekend. Hey, Mikey!

Donovan, You going to be back in town then? You could bring your BFF Jesse.:laugh_ti:

I need to get this blue SHO looked at and fixed so I can have my garage space back.

Jeff,

I don't think so. I think I sold them to someone back east. I'll double check and get back with you.

i know i've asked before. but you've said this car is green right? and wingless? i may be interested in the deck lid unless there are holes in it where a wing used to be. also, i need the coolant reservoir overflow tank if possible. i really cant afford to take the time to drive down to Suarita right now with flying out of town on monday mornings and not coming back till friday nights. i barely get to see my baby girl and the wife and they take precedent over anything else.

it could be a birthday present jeff!

No, Alex bought the turbo manifold headers.

Jeff,

I still have the buggy headers. I'll pm you a price and you can see if your buddy wants them. They're already ceramic coated. I could bring them down this Sunday.

Rear deck is in good shape, no holes. I don't have a key that works for the trunk. The keys he gave me were the wrong ones and he never could find the right one. I don't know how to "break in" to the trunk. Not sure if I can go thru the rear seat or drill the lock? I'll check on the coolant reservoir overflow tank, should have it. Any help on getting into the trunk by anybody would help

Jeff,

So I take it the trunk release lever next to the driver's seat doesn't work anymore? If that is the case, if you take out the back seat you might be able to reach through one of the holes with a stick and trip the trunk release lever.

The rear seat is removed by pushing the seat bottom backwards 1" and then lifting up. The rear seat back is bolted to the car at the bottom; un-bolt it then lift the seat back straight up.

Are you going to have your buggy back together by the 21st?

Does EK have his SHO truggy back together?
