Stupid Question: R/T twin turbo vs SHO?

My silly little brother just bought a dodge stealth r/t twin turbo and has been bragging about it non-stop. I whooped him bad in his sohc stealth, by time I got to 100 he was 10 cars back. Whadya think? According to wikipedia, the twin turbo made 296hp.

I just need an edge to keep ahead of him, what'll take?

I think you can beat him...If you remove the interior,




Run spares out back, weaves up front,
Remove trunklid, hood, doors (replace with racing tape),
Is this a sunroof car? Yes? Great...pop that little guy out, too,
Full exhaust is about 100LBS,
Lesee...waht elts...
There's a lot of brackets that add weight. You don't really need an alternator or AC compressor.

I know I'm forgetting something, but every 100 lbs should be good for a tenth....and I think you need like 6 or 7 of those.

I think it would be close from a roll. If its twin turbo i assume its awd if so the weight comes in around 3800 thats a substantial amount more than a mtx, if you gut the trunk take out the back seat and depending on if you have ac or not this could put a mtx in the 32XX lb range with a tank thats not full. So depending on how well maintained each car is and the type of race i dont see this being a blow out. I'd say pick up a used ZEX 82011 i believe is the part number of the dry 75 shot and pull the stuff out of the trunk.

Yeah, traction will be an issue (not to mention the 2 turbochargers)

nitrous oxide could make it a close race (off-road of course)

In either case, I still love to put it to that SHO! That ricer intake and exhaust creates the most elegant melody..

Think of it this way.. With his SOHC, you have more power by about 10 HP, you won.. Hes now got ~90 more HP than you... What do you think will happen.. Weight aside, your still going to get your ass handed to you!
