OK. Feeling much better now.

Looks like the next gathering opportunity is going to be Mission on June 20th. Mike Stimson ( shopartsnw ) and his wife Karen are planning to be up with their RX-7 racer ( Karen driving ), and Les Soman (SHOmanBC) is also planning to be there with the LIMO.

Keep in mind that Saturday is practice and qualifying, so it's a different feel than race day, but every bit as entertaining.

Gates open at 7:00, action starts at 9:00am.

Should we meet somewhere in Abbotsford for breakfast and drive together to the track?

Impossible for me to get there. Time and funds dictate otherwise. Too bad.

But can you or Gene please pick up my 13" PBR kit Mike is sneaking over for me? I'm now doing it for sure. THe $500 price tag he has on it currently is too good to pass up. I can find new calipers around here but I simply cannot find the bracket. Ford sells them of course but they I can't afford to buy them without selling Brent into white slavery... And then I'd need rotors anyway which only Mike has.

I'll find a way to get it over here.

We added Kevin and Gene to our "pit crew" list, so you do not need to pay any entry fees (normally about $6-8/day). We do not have any extra pit crew slots available since I and the kids each need one too. For Gene and Kevin, we are car #99 (Stimson).

I recommend any others who want free entry to the track should get in touch with Les and se if he has any extra free pit crew slots. If that does not work, let me know and I will see if any other racers have some extra slots.
