Wooward Dream Cruise '09 thread

Anybody else going to the cruise this year? I was cruising last night and it was already PACKED with cars. I even saw a rare Renault Turbo hatch in red (The SHOgun's inspiration). The weather looks perfect, 88 & sunny all weekend, too, so I expect a high turnout. I'll just be around in my Vic during the week and walking around between 12mile and Maple all day Saturday. Hope to see some SHO's out there. I've already seen a few 2010 Taurii driving around and Royal Oak Ford has a new SHO on display too.

im going to be out and about tomorrow afternoon. i work at 14mile and crooks Murray's Auto parts, next to Aldi. working from 8-4. hit me up in the afternoon. 313-623-4080. will be driving the sho. might take it through the more expensive auto wash tomorrow lol.

ooo, the more expensive car wash. Someone is spoiling their SHO. LOL. That's funny that you work right there because I've been by that intersection almost everyday this week and I live near 10mile & Coolidge. I actually have some friends coming in from Buffalo tonight for the cruise too. I'll give you call when we go out (might not be until later though, like past 8pm). Hey, I meant to call, but my friends didn't arrive from Buffalo until 7:30pm, so we didn't actually get out onto Woodward until about 9pm Friday night. Saturday we were out all day walking from 11 mile to 14 1/2 mile and back. I think I saw you SHO though. Does it have chrome wheels? It was the only white SHO I saw out there. I also a red gen 2 cruisin yesterday. Well hope you had as much as fun as I did.

Sat I was parked right on Woodard with the hood up in B'ham across from the Porsche Dealer, right next to all the Pantera's & Cobra clones. Only saw ONE other SHO! It was also White, I think 94-95, but with some 'gaudy' chrome wheels.

Oh darn. Me and my buddies had walked all of the way up from 11 mile and turned around just after 14 mile at Auto Europe (probably less than a block away from you) because my buddies were ******** about walking so far.

ha that was me. my rebuild cardone ps rack is still leaking and leaks onto the exhaust manifold.
and yeah, all that cruising definatly heats it up. im ripping it out this week to replace.
and my sho does have some rims, silver face tho. and i have vynil on the front corners to make them white.

That may have been it, but I remember seeing a white one with gaudy chrome wheels also, which I don't think was yours, so maybe there was another one cruising .

My sister and husband stopped in on the way back from Niagra and she said she saw a NEW SHO rolling along.

my car doesnt smoke anymore. fixed the rack now its just a pretty ghost.
