The intent was to reduce the internal energy loss of the valvetrain. The unitended consequence is that when the engine is started cold there seems to be insuffient fuel delivery. I believe what happens is that some of the fuel stays on the back side of the inactive intake valve until the engine warms enough to vaporize that fuel. Within about 20-30 seconds (depending on the ambient temperature) the engine runs fine. Like my auction says, the cams (all 4) would need to be replaced to return it to normal."
