VIN search 2016 Models Only

Remember this is being used for research nothing illegal here. This search is limited to production models only no Police models.

Using the Ford ETIS web site we had a few members start a VIN search We managed to find three sequential production numbers all AWD.

Rules of Engagement. 1. Vehicle model, series interior/exterior color Emissions info (49 State California) Build date.

Bonus points awarded for
1. two sequential numbers that may have ended one production day and began another day
2. City delivery....double bonus if that VIN can be found on that city's local dealers website for sale.
3. Two sequential production numbers that are the same series or drive as in Two or more sequential SEL/Limited/SHO or multiple (2 or more) of the same color even if they are different series SEL/Limited or FWD/AWD.

I will even help with some clues and hints.

1FAHP2XXXXXXXXXX

X-1=Model D SE E SEL/FWD F Limited FWD
H SEL/AWD J Limited AWD K SHO AWD
D is FWD only K is AWD only.

X2= Engine Code 8 3.5 V6 9 2.0 E/B T 3.5 E/B (SHO) Hint 2 AWD are V6 only so that should help reducing searches

X3 is a check digit 0-9 and X only

X-4 10th digit
X-5 11th digit plant code Since we are looking at 2016 models only they should BOTH be G

12-17 digit is the sequential production number as in 00001/02//03/04/05 etc...

As Pintony has said your the vin wizard..This SHO was at the Chicago auto show. Vin ending 100560 I believe..

1FAHP2J82GG100140: 2016 Limited 301A package California Emissions, Moon roof/NAV/20" split spoke wheels. Guard exterior/Charcoal interior.
1FAHp2KTXGG100141: Our own Blue SHO 2016 SHO Blue Jean SHO.
1FAHP2D81GG100142: 2016 Ford Taurus SE FWD Ingot Silver/Dune 49 state Emissions/Flex Fuel....note at bottom says Government Service Administration so probably government fleet.

1FAHP2F87GG100143 2016 Limited FWD/V6 Build date 11/21/2015 White Platinum 49 state emissions Moonroof.NAV/20" wheels 301A

NOTE LESS Front License plate bracket.....That usually narrows down states to IN/MI/PA/WV/NM/OK/AR/LA/TN/AL/FL/GA/SC/NC PA is definitely California Emissions not sure about the others.

I think that "check" number is going to make finding other vins TUFF!
