Used PP SHO's hard to find?

Coming from a used car dealer, he said he could sell a car with a blown trans easier than one with a sunroof that didn't work. I personally wouldn't own a car with a sunroof.

Of the last 10 cars I've owned, 8 have had sunroofs. Not one problem with any of them.

I would also add that it seems a sunroof is a substantially cheaper & easier to fix than a transmission...

Having spent years in the used car business - cars in the price range and likeness of our SHO's are easier sold fully equipped with the likes of moonroofs and navigation.

No, that guy is saying he wants to go sideways. And I got my SHO after Winter ended, but from what I'm reading everywhere snow tires aren't even needed.

I bought mine this February with damn near bald tires and this thing was a beast. Tried to get her squirelly in the snow. It laughed

Cool! When I got my car in March it had 28k on it, so I asked for new tires and got 'em. Should still be plenty of tread left when Winter gets here.

A c7 tried to pass me the other day in my PP SHO, lets just say he looked mighty confused when we were still next to each other at 100 LOL.

Yes they are....wise to look for that steering wheel in the ad pics as I found many dealers don't specify if a PP car or not and that was the only way to tell....I wanted a PP with leather only and the massaging seats. That took patience but one magically showed up in my city and was not advertised as a PP car....I ran the VIN to see if it had the seats....it did and I grabbed it. I was open to a few colors so that helped.

What is the difference in the steering wheel with the PP option?

ive got a PP and I believe its the Alcantara (suede) wrapped steering wheel. most of Fords (performance equipped) cars has them.

I feel like mine has this but I do not have the PP.

If you have adaptive cruise control, you don't have the PP.

PP also has the Button in the center console that turns TC off, I do not believe Non-PP have this button. there's a bunch of other stuff but they aren't obvious. im sure theirs a digit indicator in the VIN number but i do not know what it is.

Actually - In 2013 you could get 402A (which includes Adaptive CC) with the Performance Package. This changed in 2014 & 2015 when the Performance Package could be coupled with the 401A Pkg at best.

PP gets the police interceptor cooling package....big plus for me in Florida and for anybody planning on modifying theirs.

This video if you have enough seen it already may help convince you like it did myself to dismiss the driver package adaptive cruise control and accident avoidance system because of all the extra cooling features will help with durability of the drivetain.

Two days into the ownership of my SHO I was cruising at about 55 after trying the intice a 95 lightning to race on a four lane divided road....I was approaching a car a car in the right lane (I was in the left) hitting its brakes...well all of the sudden it pulled a u turn right in front of me. I instantly saw a T bone accident in my mind (used to driving my F150) a brand new wrecked car but my reactions of hitting my brakes and steering hard right then hard left around the tail end of that car would have not been possible if I was not driving the SHO. I would like to think that the performate package contributed to my cars abilities but know that my defensive driving skills and alertness are to credit. My SHO makes me even more alert driving than my 1971 Boss 351 and especially my 2010 F150 lariat because the Taurus is such blast to drive. It is driving excitement to say the least...even my wife gets on it when driving it...she has always been reserved while driving.
