Upper trans mount

Good day all

The dealer said my upper trans mount is leaking / on its way out. Should I upgrade to the “Anthony” rear trans mounts while I’m at it ?

Also - all I see is posts for the beefier rear trans mounts and hardly anything about the front trans mount. Any recommendations on a good / upgraded front trans mount ?

Dealer wanted almost $600 with parts and labor to replace the front trans mount. Needless to say - I won’t be getting it done there hahaha

the AD trans mounts have 2 lowers (front and rear) the upper is under the battery box and runs about 90.00. took me about 30 min to change it. As for leaking? none have oil in them. The AD mounts are 15 min at best and 7 of that is jacking up the car.

Are you sure it was the transmission mount? The upper and lower mounts should be mechanical like mentioned above. The Right Upper Motor Mount is Hydraulic. As far as the AD mounts, I HIGHLY recommend them. I love the feel of shifts after installing these.

Nope - they definitely said trans mount ( see attached pic )

No idea what they are trying to sell you. The Hydraulic Engine Mount is $120 MSRP. Labor is 2.1 hrs. (Maybe $250?) All of the others are rubber/metal mounts. $50, $60, and $100 MSRP. Didn't see labor times but I'd say an hour for the bottom 2 and 1.5 for the top being generous.

Are you able to do any inspection on your own and maybe throw some pics on here? This is along the lines of blinker fluid when reading the customer ticket, LOL. Either it was written wrong or someone is trying to take advantage.
