Well I was driving the car around for a little bit and the car was great. Temp was 67F and I parked it. When I started the car 20 min later it made a gargling/grinding noise and revs were at 500rpm. It then died. Started it up again and it went to 500rpm for 5 sec and then died. I fired it up and gave it gas to bring the revs up engine felt a little wierd but then it cleared out. All day it felt like power was a bit sapped paticulary 4,000 rpm and up. It has done this before but when it gets cold out shes fast as ****. I had a new fuel pump installed last year and had the 60k done

May not be related, but today my 92 was running lousy, stalled several times. Soon as the cold front went thru it started to run great again. Maybe still winter blend gas? Maybe just the lousy weather? Maybe it's just getting old!

My wifes car did the same thing, and this was the explanation I got. The winter gas has a combination of alcohol in it which you won't find in the warmer months. This allows the fuel to burn easier. I was told that it was probably 'vapor lock'. I haven't heard that since my 71' Charger R/T! The fuel burns away before getting to the engine, and the engine sucks in air and stumbles. Hit the gas for a few seconds and it clears up. It hasn't done it since. But it also happened after driving and stopping at a few stores.
