Tach Stuck

Among the many problems of my 90, and most definitely the least serious is the fact that my tach is stuck below 0. Anyone ever heard of this and is there any easy way to fix it? Thanks

yup try to get a nice chirp out of second gear...while 'givin' er shiit! by this you will be near redlin in first, and your tach needle should pop back to where it should be. i have read some1s post with the same prob on here, and have also had the problem with my 91 ****** gt. its a fun and easy fix!

p.s. on my 93, which is auto anyway...there is a pin on either end...so there is almost(?!) no way to get it over there for me! not that i would want to or need to.

get it a good flick, used to work on my old exploder, volts stuck all the time for some reason

That happened to my Plus once during my first week of ownership. I took it easy for the next couple of days. I hit a bump just right and it began working again. For some reason the old Ford gauges like to get stuck way out in no-mans-land.
