I have a '93 ATX with stock suspension, and I was wondering what kind of handling boost getting the cincysho.com swaybar kit and the strut tower bracing kit would give to my beast. Also, is the Aluminum tower bracing kit any better than the steel one? and if they're put in, would I have to move the 2 piston braces that hold the hood open?

If you want a good handling SHO, just get some sway bars from a 89-91 SHO. The will be 24mm/26mm. That is probably what CincySHO sells. I don't recommend CincySHO either. I am personally running 22mm/26mm and it handls great. I also drive an MTX, so the ATX will be a little different as the motor sits farther forward.

If you get some strut tower braces, I would go with steel. Again, I don't recommend CincySHO. Yes, you will have to remove the hood struts or relocate them. For this, contact Adam Varney(ACV1081) on this forum.

Whatever strut rod you get, get a straight one. Rods with a built-in bend or curve defeat the purpose of a strut rod.

I have an aluminum strut rod, btw, but only in the rear.
