Question with install .... does it matter if they are turned. When I changed bushings and tightened nut they turned and I tightened them in the air ( no load on suspension ) does that matter.... thank you for any help. I searched and couldn't find an answer.

There is a flat spot on either end that you use to hold the rod with a wrench while you tighten the nut. If the rod twisted while you tightened it then just use a wrench to twist it back into place. The bushings will adjust with the rod.

You would never get a torque wrench on them while its on the ground. I did mine in the air too. No problems, not to mention they are crazy tight so a load wouldn't matter anyway. How were your bushing seats on the sub frame?
