strut rod/lower control arm

i took off the nut but it is stuck. is it just rusted bad or is there somethin else i need to do to seperate them?

- Remove LCA and strut rod from car.
- Stick strut rod in vise
- Twist and pull until separated.

get a bigger hammer and vent some frustration on your LCA.

I have had them where the rubber bushing was rusted on the strut rod so bad that I literally had to pull the bushing apart to get the things apart. Don't be afraid to destroy the bushing - its no good anyway.

The best is when the strut rods are stuck in the front of the subframe. BFH is your BFF...lol :laugh_ti:

and some heat a BFH is ur best friend in these situations
