The SHO shares the spring and strut physical dimensions with the non-SHO Taurus, but you wouldn't want to use the lower rate springs and lower damping level components on your SHO. It would result in ride and handling more like a Taurus than a SHO with the only differences being the sway bar sizes.

Sorry if I forgot any. If you want advice I would really do a search on this board. There is a bunch of well covered post on supension upgrades, locating parts, what to buy, and how much.

I know from what I've read (about every post availalbe on suspension upgrades), that you should go with Eibach or Intrax springs with Tociko or Koni strut inserts. Or, of course keep it all stock (but why would you?) Also, I've read mostly negative replies to INTRAX/KYB setups. Not real negative, just those who have done it would suggest spending a bit more to do it "right". KYB's seem to get weakened by the stronger spring rate of the Eibach/Intrax springs.

I personally purchased the Intrax springs and was going with the KYB until I searched the topic and decided to go with Tociko's or Koni's. I haven't decided which yet, but it wont the KYB.

IPT sells the coil-over set up for like $900.00 f/r. So do some other aftermarket folks.

If you're just trying to replace worn out parts, the struts for Gen 2 (92-95) SHOs are the same as for standard Taurii. This may also be true for GenI, I don't know.

In general the springs on a SHO are stiffer than on a standard Taurus, although there are suspicions that some of the later 95s got the softer springs instead of the usual stiffer SHO springs.
