It's a '00 Z28. Saying that he beat me would be putting it lightly. We lined up at the stoplight and I gave it ****.

It wasn't enough as he was 3 cars ahead as the speedometer swung past 70. Ouch.

Those LS1's are pretty bad. I did get to drive it later that evening and it was fairly impressive. Torque is an amazing thing.

However, when we pulled in to the gas station to do a fluid check and popped our hoods, the kids standing around outside flocked. Needless to say he felt lonely.

LT1?

No, I had an LT1 in my 94 Formula. From 1998 on Camaro's and Firebirds (t/a) are all LS1's.

On the highway, I can hang with an unmodded LT1.
