I just fixed the radiator, heater hose, rad cap, starter, altenator, battery, ordered up 2 new Kumho AST tires for it this morning, converting over to 7 spoke OEM alloys...... test pipe, Lowering springs 350lbs/300lbs spring rates, KYB AGX struts, cone filter, painted valve cover with Duplicolor gunmetal wheel paint/clear, vacuum lines deleted sans brake booster and FPR, all emissions removed, black interior, no power options, no sunroof, I changed pads/rotors a few months ago
I got a stainless header for it to put on, need to put a fan on it....
needs: manual trans swap ;-)
timing chain guide... I was just going to redo entire timing system with a light crank pulley
fuel injector gaskets
time distributor correctly
I got non flip up lights for it(black), thinking about getting black aftermarket tail lights for it, and I'm going to repaint the entire car black.... custom home made paint job I've been experimenting with on my roof.. I just gotta do the rest of the car now
It'll look good with new paint.... timing chain job is fairly easy.... especially since I don't have a fan or shroud on it..... remove PS pump from bracket, set aside in car, take off belts, take off valve cover, take off timing cover, distributor, oil pump... not too hard and theres room to work on it..... hardest part is removing crank pulley with a puller........
cost for timing kit/crank pulley/new oil pump(hey why not, nice insurance) is like 200 bucks on ebay......
this car lacks power, after driving it you will think a SHO is a ferrari LOL
145hp FTL, yes even if it is a thousand pounds lighter then a SHO
P.S. I drive this car sometimes 40-60 miles a day for work..... I'm in the construction field now and I gotta get around sometimes, besides the radiator/starter/altenator its never skipped a beat and gets me there, it is fairly reliable
