For those interested, Kurt and I are selling these kits with the SHO PBR calipers. The main thread is in the Group Buy section on 13" Big Brake Group Buy. A few people preordered the kits at an introductory price, and they will go out this week. We still have a limited number of kits available for sale now before we have to make a second run.

The updated pricing is as follows we found some things were more difficult and had to adjust from the group buy:

Basic 13" kit (I doubt these ever sell w/o SHO logo) $495
Includes New calipers, new pads, new banjo bolts, new brackets, new curved vein slotted rotors (redrilled to Taurus)

Add SHO Logo add $50/set (It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that bling)

Reduced weight rotors add $50/set (reduces rotor weight by about 1 lb)

12" kit option add $150 (these come with plain rotors, but they fit under slicers)

If you need 94/95 spindles we have those for $125/set as-is, or $225 w/ new bearings installed.

If you need other pricing on parts, let me know. Orders can be emailed to me at [email protected]

All prices do not include shipping.

Thanks again for looking

How much is the 13" kit minus the rotors, with the SHO lettering? I have a 12.5" baer kit and just need the calipers, brackets and bolts. Also what is the finish on the calipers?

To answer your question, The calipers with the SHO logo, with brackets, pads, and banjo bolts would be $325 plus shipping.

If I remember correctly, the Baer 12.5" kit is based on the Corvette rotor and caliper bracket, and these kits are based on the Cobra rotor. Are you planning on using the new caliper brackets with your old Baer calipers and selling them as a 13" kit, and using the new SHO calipers in your old Baer 12.5" brackets? I think that would work.

Let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Thanks

- Mike

Sorry, forgot to talk about the finish. If you look at the picture at the top of the post, there are two calipers pictured. The bottom one is what you get. It is a mill finish new caliper with no paint and bare aluminum where the logo is. The top picture is an example of painting the calipers black and filling the letters white. Other good combinations are red w/black letters, green w/white letters, you get the idea. We left the finishing to you since there are a lot of different combinations, and everyone would want somthing different.

Duplicolor 1200F paint has worked well through multiple track days. Also there are many places that sell custom colors in caliper paint. Just make sure it is high heat paint.

Thanks again

I actually aquired the 12.5" kit from my cousin. He recently bought 17" wheels for his SHO and since he only drives it in the summer, he doesn't have to worry about running 16" wheels. So we made a deal that I'd get him the rotors and I'd give him my spindles and he'd keep the calipers in exchange for his modified spindles and rotors and mounting brackets.

So yes, what you said in your previous post is essentially what I'd be doing.

I think I'll be making a purchase from you within the next month or so. Thanks for the info! These look great, I had been thinking of doing the exact same thing with a set of blank calipers from diskbrakesrus, but supporting a SHO vendor and already having the engraving done is perfect!

RI SHO, I may even get the package out tomorrow or Saturday. You will get a tracking number when it goes out.

Thanks for your purchase.

Crazy 89, I can sell just the bare calipers with the SHO logo for $250 shipped, if you send me your calipers back so I have somthing to put with my brackets as spares (I might replace the bad caliper and sell them as a used set in the future).
