The cobra caliper brackets can be re-drilled to be used with the 11.6" 96 rotors, this I know. If I wanted to try and get some 2-piece rotors that are standard sized (ie. don’t have to be cut down from 13's) to fit under slicers and have the appropriate offset, could I just change where the new mounting holes are re-drilled and use the cobra bracket?

How close can the new mounting holes be from the existing ones without weakening the bracket?

Also, what is the thickest rotor that will fit in the in the cobra calipers (cobra rotors are 1.10" thick.) Would 1.25" rotors fit in there.?

Thanks for any info.

Until the bolt heads run into one another?
Holes side by side are not a problem, but if you're thinking slotted they'll shift. I'd give them maybe .050 wall.

And only if you ground off the brake pad materal! :thumb:
