I replaced the A/C clutch hub on my 94 ATX last sunday. Here is what I discovered.
1)Removing and installing the battery tray: hard to reach but I went underneath the car and reached up to remove and install the forward screw of the wheelwell
2)There is no room to use a clutch hub puller with the compressor in place.(one tool I bought which have no use for) ...so I used two screwdrivers to wedge the old one off
3) Upon assembly the compressor was cutting out after 10 seconds. I thought it was the shims because i removed one. Took it apart and put the other one back...still happened. Then I took a can of EZCHILL 134A that had a gauge on it. It was low. After half a can, it was blowing cool as ice.

OTHER STUFF:
I had to replace an idler pulley with a bad bearing. Autozone has a tool loaner for the serpentine belt tensioner. You pay 25 bucks and get it back when you return it. The kit doesn't have a 17mm socket so you have to use your own.

NY is pretty strict with their inspection emissions.
Last year I had .49 HC (.8 limit), 7.77 CO (15 limit) and 1.26 NO (2.0 limit)

I ran 5 oz of SEAFOAM through a vacuum line (it cleared EGR code 332 -low air flow)., put in a new air filter which was so so, and filled it with Mobile 93 octane.
The car was inspected yesterday: .09 HC, .68 CO and .46 NO

I am curious to see how my gas mileage improves
