Does anyone have any good ideas/techniques they can give me... I am trying to remove the Rear Control Arm to Spindle bushings. I have tried BFH and pipe wrench with large torque adder on the end of the pipe wrench and have only succeeded in removing my own hide and scaring the bushing sleve. I used heat to get the bolt out, but didn't think that would work to get the sleeve out.
Any help would be much appriciated.

I was getting some of those bushings from the junkyard the other day and I already had the control arms removed, then I just put the whole thing on the ground (the side of the bushing with the ****** was up) and I hit the arm with a hammer a few times and the bushing came right out.

IMHO It'll be pretty hard to put those control arms back onto some bushings. Mine had some rust on the Hbrace since it's a previous MW car I had to use the sawzall to cut some bolts in the center, then I just put on completely new control arms.

I tried for hours to get those bushings out. The rust under there was pretty bad. Finally, I gave up. When I take it in for an alignment, I am going to hand them the bushings and ask them to install. The new bushings are parts master bushings. I was surprised to see that they we adjustable. Thats a good thing, because I think I will need the adjustment with the Tokico/Intrax setup.
