Sighted a red gen 1/2 flying up rt15N between the 95 exit and New Haven. Had blackout in the rear bumper "SHO" legend.
IMNSHO you need to find a motorsport venue to participate in, rather than running at high speeds in moderate traffic. You were running an eyeblink away from a fatality - fast enough that someone who didn't check their mirror twice could easily lane change in front of, or into you.
I once needed the above advice as well. Get yourself into something with real adrenaline: on-track, drag strip, rallycross or autocross. Once you get your teeth into a real motorsport environment, street racing will lose its luster. You just can't get to real and repeated limits of adhesion, where your skillz come into play, on the streets. And everyone around you will be much safer.
I was fortunate enough to survive until I found the above to be true. I hope you do too. Thank you all for listening.
Sincerely,
- Jeff
