I`ve had new cups for 2 years now,so i figure it`s time to put them in.I`ve heard that the rear springs are loos enought that you don`t need a compressor,is that true?Any tip would be appreciated. The SHO is back on the road for the season, but i don`t want to drive it much with some small issues like this,

JT- The mounting cups I just put on my Tokico/Eibach setup did not require a spring compressor. The springs are shorter then the stock ones. If you have stock springs I am pretty sure you wll need to compress the spring, remove the nut and washer and install the new mounting cup. The last thing you want is to launch a compressed spring!

FYI, Autozone has a free tool lending program where you give them a credit card, you get the spring compressor and when you return it they don't charge your credit card....pretty slick.
Good luck man,

MeShoHorney is correct about the stock spring requiring the compressor and the Eibachs not needing it.

if you want to swing up here Jeremy, I'll do them for you. You definitely need a strut compressor, and the autozone deal is, it is 40 for the compressors, and they will charge you, which you can pay cash, check, or charge, and they will refund your money after.
