I spent the weekend in Grass Valley at the new track, Kurt from shosource was there with the Lemons car and Victor ( my ears are still ringing ) with his 91 plus but he was just bench racing all weekend.:)

Very busy track with blind corners and no reference points, its going to take a lot of laps before a guy is really up to speed here.

Nice!

Are the flag stations really as far off the sight-line as it looks? They looked better placed for CCW, but still kinda weird. Might just be that the camera field of view is small.

All the flag towers are quite high, I think so you can see them over all the hills but it is hard to take your eyes off the track here.

They need more stuff...kurt sugested bill boards set up so you have some sort of reference points. When you climbing all those hills the blue sky all looks the same to me.

Very fun track

It looks like the flag stations would be critical given the blind hills and corners, but if you have to take your eyes so far off track to see them it'll be a problem. Hmmm...

Still looks like a lot of fun, though.

Is there a driving school there? It looked like there were markers in the track on a few corners. It's always good to find the markers the driving schools put down and use those as reference points. A buddy drove Nurburgring last fall and said it was way easier than he expected once he figured out which pavement markers were from the school.

Nice track. Glad to see the Limo run all out vs the tight track at Mission :swing:
Have to make a trip to drive that track one day.
