noice in the rear

ok about a month ago i bought new struts and strutmounts for the rear because i thought the strutmount failed and it was banging around.. ends up the nut on the strut stripped and the strut was not attached to the strutmount corrctly. well the noice is still there. i checked the endlinks, rear swaybar bushings and i cant find it. did i cause permanent damage to the strut tower?

Check where the tension strut rods attach to the frame, they can get rotten just like the ones in the front.

Check the three nuts on the tower, and make sure they are tight. If you can't **** the whole assembly around with it on a jack, I'd say it wasn't the culprit.

i can get under the car without a jack lol.... ill be uder the car tomorow because my cv boot ripped and my cv joint is popping so im going to pack it full of grease and while im under there ill check it out

I don't mean to be rude here at all.. But, we all beat on our SHO's here from time to time.. Take them to 7 grand and bomb into second... But man... You seem to have 3 or so things a week break on this thing.. What are you doing to it? ha

im not doing anything to it at all.....im not beating the snot out of it. right now the current issues are leaky valve (temporrely fixed untill a few weeks from now) and a cv joint pop. and the mystery banging in the rear that i cant seem to find... but the way i look at it what dosent **** it makes it stronger.

So if I keep pushing 3rd gear with lots of boost, it'll get stronger?!
