well my names ryan. im 19 have owned 11 cars and just bought a 95 sho. my buddy has one and he let me drive it a couple times and i loved it. it took me a while to find one but i think i made a good choice. its a 95 89k miles. sadly needs the trans rebuilt but o well. paid 900 for her so cant complain. it had been his second car for 9 years and was rarely driven. sat for 3 years when i bought it. im doing maintenance on her right now and doing everything to get her in good driving condition before any modding.

things i need to do are

trans. taking it in this week to get rebuilt

brakes. fronts are shot. while im at it should i upgrade to anything like another years brakes for example?

needs exhaust. mufflers are rusted. still looking into what aftermarket exhaust to get.

and last radiator. which im doing tomorrow

im really glad i got her. everytime i go outside i just stare in awww. cant wait to get to know some of you on here. thanks for taking the time to read

Welcome!!!!

If you have the mechanical ability, time and money, you can put an manual trans in there instead. Have you ran the motor since you got the car? It will probably need new plugs too, and let it run till it warms up and keep a really close eye for any fluid leaks - like oil in the plug wells, from the valve covers, from the cam or crank seals - and watch for power steering hose leaks. Just pointing out what to keep an eye out for on a car that has sat so long - seals dry out and crack. Don't want you to think it's all good and then find this and that and that and this and that that still need to be done:) Welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy the SHO!

the trans isn't completely blown so it is still driveable. it just doesnt shift all the time. and messes up when it does shift lol. ive driven it a couple times. i had to drive it an hour home. which one tire was dry rotted and exploded on me lol. the only leak is from the radiator which has gone bad
