Hello. Im Jeremy and I Just bought a 2015 SHO with 32k miles this week. Im familiar with forums as I was an LS1tech guy for years. Anyways I bought the SHO and I absolutely love this car. I had a Limited model before this car and I’m very happy with the upgrade.

Im looking to start with some bolt ons for the car. I read a few threads and it seems the best thing to do first is intake and down pipes… I know some say a CAI is overkill as the stock turbos aren’t really gasping for air. I may buy a K&N just to start, but if anyone has a CAI that they want to get rid of, couldn’t hurt to buy if I can save some money.

The color on this car is soooo nice I love it! Here’s a sneak peak of the car for y’all’s pleasure.

Welcome! The stock intake is fine until it can no longer hold the boost which is what happened with me at maybe 14psi. Others haven't had issues

I see your also in Texas. I love my SHO down here, not many around. Your not far away from Gearhead tuning which is located in Bryan, Tx. A Tune, Intercooler and Downpipes would be an immediate power boost in the $2kish range. For a couple hundred more you can get Trans/Torque mounts to Eliminate the wheel hop your going to experience.

Since your also in Texas you have access to E-85, when it doesnt snow and for a few months after lol. You can run a E30 tune which paired with an upgraded fuel pump will turn SHO into real a sleeper that will surprise many and is fun to drive. Get some wider wheels and tires, street radials, upgraded turbos and you'll be a able to take down some Hellcats and other $80k+ cars.

You can push 500+ whp for probably $7k doing the work yourself, maybe less?

Methanol is also great option for keeping things cool down here. A catch can would be very beneficial in Houston with all the humidity.

Very good info sir. Thank you.

I noticed on my fuel tank it says e15 is able to be used. Should I use that ?
Are you saying e85 requires the e30 tune ? Or can you just put e85 in it factory ?

E30 is a blend of E85 and 93. You need a tune, spark plugs, map sensor minimum to run e30.
Basically you go the gas station and pump X gallons of e85 then pump in x of 93. It’s best to have an ethanol sensor so you know what your blends are. For my specific tune I try to keep my car right at e40.

Until you start the start the tuning modding process just keep running 93.
