Hello everyone I've been creeping the forums for a couple months before I felt knowledgeable enough to post anything. I recently bought a 2011 Taurus SHO w/PP @55k miles. So far mods I have done are:
Z23 Brakes
Unleashed tuning performance package
MSD Coils
BBK 70mm throttlebody
Livernois HighFlow catted DP
OBX Catback Exhaust
All around fluid change (PTU looked like grease ): )

Have to install:
Transmission cooler
Oil cooler
Oil catch can

I absolutely love the car but im afraid I have a new PTU or transmission in the future. Under WOT it seems to be slipping or shuddering but I dont think it's misfiring. Any further build suggestions or newbie tips I would love to hear.

Welcome aboard.
I used the Livernois Catch Can set up.
Pretty easy install.

I would also recommend Cold Air from Ecopower:

Congrats on the purchase! Sorry to hear about the issues, are you noticing the issue midway through the RPM range or on shifts?

Yes definitely, a datalog can tell you if you are getting spark knock that is pulling timing, could be the throttle body closing for one reason or another, or it could be rough shifting from poor torque management. Lots of variables that can be easily deciphered in a datalog.
